Far Horizon Studio is a team of original filmmakers with over ten years in creative development, production and post-production including editing and animation in documentaries, commercials, PSAs, and industrials. We service out-of-town clients as well as local agencies and industry with diligence, excellence and the ability to meet tight deadlines and tight budgets. Far Horizon sits on the leading edge of technology, understanding tech companies and their unique perspectives.

Elizabeth Gabel

With a degree in journalism and an early career as a photojournalist, Gabel has brought her writing and photographic skills to documentaries and Public Service Announcements for the State of New Mexico’s Department of Transportation, Education and Health for over six years. She won a industry Telly for producer on “You Drink, You Drive, You Lose” with then New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, and a Luminaria award for one of New Mexico’s best Producers from the Albuquerque Little Theater. More recently she has produced for Ugg Boots, Ambercare in Albuquerque, Samarian Counseling and worked with Sunbrella Fabrics.

Gabel has worked in the New Mexico film industry since 2001 in local and extras casting in such films as “No Country for Old Men”, “Terminator Salvation”, “3:10 To Yuma”, “Appaloosa”, “Men who Stare at Goats”, “Paul”, “True Grit” “Cowboys and Aliens”, “Book of Eli,” and “Gambit” among others.


Ralph Keyser

Keyser began his photographic career early working as a professional still photographer and a photojournalist eventually moving into remote sensing applications and the nation’s leading technology firms at the dawn of the digital imaging age, working for Bell Telephone Laboratories, Vought Aerospace, Lockheed Martin and Sandia National Laboratories. He has developed cutting edge systems for both ground-based and space-based applications. Keyser holds degrees from Carnegie-Mellon University and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Moving into filmmaking in the late 1990s, Keyser has worked as a Director of Photography and Editor with the State of New Mexico, PBS, TNT, Oxygen and many others. He has done documentaries and short narrative films for independent production companies throughout the US.
